Christ In The Passover We have decided to try something different this Holy Week. Instead of having a Maundy Thursday Service, we are going to have a Good Friday Service. Lyn Rosen Bond, a missionary for Jews for Jesus, will be here to present a program called Christ in the Passover. Lyn will connect the dots between the Jewish Passover celebration and the Lord’s supper. Lyn will speak about each of the symbolic foods used in the seder meal and how they tell the salvation story for the children of God. The story reenacts their freedom from bondage in Egypt. Following the Christ in the Passover presentation we will then celebrate the Lord’s supper. You will not want to miss this special service and presentation. Missionary Lyn Bond has been with Jews for Jesus since before there was a Jews for Jesus! She is the older daughter of Moishe and Ceil Rosen. Her parents came to faith just about a year and a half before Lyn started kindergarten. Lyn asked Jesus to be her Messiah when she was in first grade, and handed out Jews for Jesus style gospel literature with her father as early as the summer of 1969. Lyn and her college sweetheart, Alan Bond, were wed one year after graduation. The two came on staff with Jews for Jesus in 1975 and, except for an eight-year maternity leave, Lyn has served on staff with the ministry ever since. When their daughter Bethany started kindergarten, Lyn went back to seminary and earned a master's degree in missiology. Easter Sunday April 24 8:00 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Services 9:15 a.m. Sunday School for all ages Nursery provided all morning

The missionary uses Scripture as well as the visual items to walk through a Jewish Passover seder, weaving the story of the Exodus together with the life, death and resurrection of Christ. The words He spoke in the upper room come alive as each Hebraic item is carefully explained. We will finish this powerful presentation by celebrating communion. We pray this presentation of Christ in the Passover will deepen your communion experience. "Copyright 2011 Jews for Jesus. Used by permission." http://www.jewsforjesus.org.
