Sunday School Classes

Sunday School is available for all ages and meets at 9:15 am each week. The youth are divided into four main areas : Beginners, Primary, Youth, and High School. The youth Sunday Schools has an annual Christmas program and a special promotion Sunday at the beginning of each year.

If you have a special topic you would like study in a Sunday School class, contact Adult Sunday School coordinator Jennie Robinson or education chairperson Beth Kastorff. The education committee is exploring offering other 6-8 week special interest studies.

"Authentic: Developing the Disciplines of a Sincere Faith" led by Denise Smith meets in Otterbein Hall
 
  "Crazy Love" a video series by Francis Chan led by Dan Callison.
"Tradition and Wisdom - God's Covenant" - Loyal Daughters Class lessons led by June Carlson - meets in Sanctuary northeast classroom.   "Standing on the Promises or sitting on the premises" by James Moore led by Nancy Frakes - meets in the library.

"Facing Your Giants"
led by Chuch Emerick - meets in Albright Hall.

 

     

Beginners Department
is for children 3 years old through Kindergarten. The department meets on the third floor to the right of the nursery. The classes meet for opening songs and prayers of joys and concerns. The children then split up into classes for each age. In this class, Bible stories are brought to life with song, puppets, and play.
 
  Primary Department is for children in grades 1st through 4th. This department meets on the third floor to the left of the nursery. They meet for an opening time of music and prayer. They divide up by grade to study Bible stories using Cokesbury Curriculum.

 
Youth Department consists of a 5th and 6th grade class. They meet weekly in the basement of the office complex. During class the students discuss scripture and how it applies to their lives.

 

  Fusion is a Jr. and Sr. High class. Grades 7th - 12th workshop that meets in the old parsonage office complex. If you come to Fusion you will experience music, games, videos, food, teaching and fellowship. Our student band leads worship and the director of Youth Ministries does the teaching. Teaching covers everything from grace, salvation and spiritual disciplines.
